Star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Jen Shah Receives 6.5 Years in Federal Prison

In July, Shah entered a guilty plea to one count of conspiring to commit wire fraud.

Jen Shah, star of "Real Housewives," Received a 6.5-year Prison for Telemarketing Fraud.

Shah was given a further five years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Sidney H. Stein. Stein also mandated that she forfeit $6.5 million, 30 luxury items, and 78 fake luxury items in addition to paying over $6.6 million in restitution.

"With today's punishment, Jennifer Shah now has to live with the repercussions of her many years of preying on defenceless, elderly victims.

From 2012 until she and her aide Stuart Smith were taken into custody in March 2021, the scam was in operation.

Shah also knowingly provided others in the bigger fraud ring with the contact details of those victims. Prosecutors claimed that the victims were continuously targeted until they ran out of money.
